Description
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Healthcare Contracting Southeast, 820 Chandler Street, Fort Detrick, MD 21702, intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), soliciting from a single source. The proposed source is Draeger, Inc. (UEI: M835NJ4FS8T9), 3135 Quarry Rd, Telford, PA 18969-0142. The requirement is for preventive maintenance inspection of Draeger Apollo Anesthesia machines at 633rd Medical Group, Langley-Eustis Joint Air Force Base, Virginia. The contract is expected to have a base period of performance of 22 December 2025 � 21 December 2026 and will include four one-year option periods ending 21 December 2030. The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, supervision, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts, tools, and supplies necessary to ensure that the equipment performs in accordance with the manufacturer�s conformance standards. The contractor shall provide telephone assistance for correcting equipment operation issues. Service representatives shall have completed Draeger certified formal professional training on Apollo anesthesia equipment and shall be receiving continuing Draeger certified education annually. These services were previously provided under firm fixed price non personal services contract FA480021P0003, held by Draeger, Inc. (UEI: M835NJ4FS8T9), 3135 Quarry Rd, Telford, PA 18969-0142. The contract had a one-year base period (19 October 2020 � 18 October 2021) and four one-year option periods ending 18 October 2025. The total price was $72,202.50. The Product and Service Code (PSC) was J065. The contract was awarded on a sole source basis with no set aside restrictions under NAICS 811219. The requirement will be classified under North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811210 and there are no set-aside restrictions. The Product/Service Code will be J065. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same services. All capability statements received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing time and date for challenges is no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 5 December 2025. No phone calls will be accepted.
