Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to negotiate a contract on a single source basis to AMGLO for the PAR 38 Lamps. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System Paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures. Saab, Inc. owns all proprietary data rights proprietary information necessary to conduct manufacture, repair, and test of these assets. The proposed principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 335139, Electric Lamp Bulb and Other Lighting Equipment Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 1250. This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement.
