Description

N6833526Q1086- VXP Vibration Analysis System Synopsis PSC: 4920 NAICS: 334511 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to solicit, negotiate and make an award on a sole-source basis with Diagnostic Solutions International (DSI), LLC (CAGE 4Z9A3) for a Fixed-Price contract. This procurement is for the production and delivery of the following Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) Part Numbers (PNs): 901-17330-2 VXP Display Unit (DU), 902-17317-12B Auxiliary Unit (AU) to Display Unit Cable, 906-26574 Power Supply, 24VDC, and 915-18635-1 Printer Kit. These PNs are required to perform Organizational/Intermediate and Depot Level Maintenance tasks on C-130 type aircraft. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. A solicitation will NOT be posted following the close of this synopsis, unless alternate offerors are identified. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS, AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY.
