Notice from the Base Support Contracting Branch at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio: The AFLCMC Operational Contracting Branch, WBAFB, Ohio is seeking capabilities package of potential sources for market research purposes only. This notice is to identify potential sources capable of provide the feather banners and trusses for the United States Air Force Marathon located at WPAFB, held the third weekend of September each year, as well as other events produced by the USAF Marathon staff through the year. Installation and tear down services, as well as storage services when not in use are also required. Market Research and Authority Statement THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT/ REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) OR PROPOSAL. This announcement does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. It is for a potential nonappropriated fund (NAF) purchase. NAF purchases do not involve appropriated funds of the United States Government, nor does it involve federal tax dollars. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) rules do not apply and there is no requirement for set-asides. NAF funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs. A solicitation for this requirement does not currently exist. The decision to solicit for a contract will be solely within the Government's discretion. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought is voluntary and will be used for market research. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for the submission of information in response to this notice. Submission Requirements All interested firms shall submit a response to the Primary Points of Contact, Ms. Ally Peterangelo at ally.peterangelo@us.af.mil and Ms. Amanda Hoyng at amanda.hoyng@us.af.mil demonstrating their capability to provide feather banners and trusses, to include set-up, tear down, and storage, for the United States Air Force Marathon and other events produced by the USAF Marathon staff through the year in accordance with all requirements in the draft Statement of Work (attached). Vendors that respond shall review the technical requirements and submit responses that: Specify that offered products/services meet the specifications provided; and Provide detailed information to show clear technical compliance. Capabilities Package Guidelines All interested vendors shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates their ability to provide the required supplies and/or services. The capabilities package should be brief and concise yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements. Page Limit: The response must not exceed five (5) pages. Ensure only .pdf, .doc, .docx, .xlsx or .xls documents are attached to your email. Attachments with files ending in .zip or .exe are not allowable and will be deleted by email filters at WPAFB.
