Description

Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC (hereinafter called �LLNS�) is seeking sources for the performance of hazardous waste management disposal services for �Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.� The services will entail equipment rentals and arranging for off-site treatment and disposal of LLNL�s waste. Additionally, the disposal services will include arranging for off-site transportation of the waste shipments to the LLNS approved treatment, storage and disposal facilities. LLNL�s waste consists of medical, universal, hazardous, and non-hazardous waste. All services shall be performed in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and Local regulations, Department of Energy (�DOE�) orders and LLNS� policies and procedures. Only contractors that have considerable experience in environmental compliance with a strong corporate quality assurance program, a record of passing regulatory agency inspections, the ability to meet Resource Conservation and Recovery Act requirements and the Universal Treatment Standards for the identified waste streams will be considered.
