Description
This is not a request for quote/proposal. Pursuant to FAR 5.203(a), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW), Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Critical Technologies (OASW(CT)) intends to extend a short-term, sole source bridge contract to the incumbent contractor, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) [CAGE Code: 6XWA8; 12010 SUNSET HILLS RD FL 4, RESTON, VA 20190 USA, United States]. The contractor originally provided support services under GSA Contract Number GS00Q14OADU130, Task Order number 47QFCA20F0019 which expired on September 17, 2025. A bridge contract was awarded under Contract Number HQ0034-25-C-E-098 to SAIC with a period of performance (POP) from September 18, 2025 to March 17, 2026. The anticipated POP for the bridge extension (HQ0034-25-C-E-098) is from March 18, 2026 to May 17, 2026. The anticipated award will be made under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services and 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. For DoD, NASA, and the Coast Guard, services may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of follow-on contracts for the continued provision of highly specialized services when it is likely that award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. The contract is intended to meet OSW requirements to provide specialized technical and program management support OASW(CT). The follow-on requirement is currently being recompeted through a competitive acquisition with an anticipated award date of April 31, 2026. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will NOT be honored or acknowledged. Phone calls and requests for meetings will not be accepted.
