Description
This NOTICE OF INTENT is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 219.502-2(1). The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Indian Head, Maryland, Contracts Department, Code 02 intends to award a competitive task order for the Hull Training Aid Demolition at LXXXX. This project will consist of demolishing and disposing of the hull training aid. The proposed task order will only be competed with the contractors that received a basic ordering agreement (BOA) from the Carpentry BOA (N0017424G0001) solicited on 07/31/2024. These small business contractors successfully demonstrated their capabilities and experience to be able to complete this type of work for the government. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a competitive small business set-aside basis under the authority DFARS 219.502-2(1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government may consider all responses received to this notice for future opportunities. Responses must be received within 15 business days after date or publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be available for this procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract. Since this is a Notice of Intent, evaluation letters will not be issued to any respondent nor will inquires be responded to. This requirement is being conducted under Classification Code Z2JZ and NAICS Code 238130. All interested sources shall provide the organization name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, business size, taxpayer identification number, UEI number, and CAGE Code. In addition, all interested sources shall provide a summary of their company�s capabilities, which may be considered for potential future opportunities.
