Description
Battelle Memorial Institute, Columbus, Ohio, was awarded a $52,876,517 hybrid, firm ?fixed-price, time-and-material, and cost-reimbursable contract (HDTRA1-26-C-0004) for the Scientific and Technical Engagement Partnership 2.0 effort. This contract provides for scientific and technical services to strengthen the capabilities of partner nations and the international community to prevent, detect, and prepare for disease outbreaks through mentorship, training and assessment activities. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition. SAM.gov was used to solicit proposals and four proposals were received. The principal place of performance is Columbus, Ohio, as indicated in the contract award. Work is expected to be completed by Jan. 25, 2031. Fiscal 2025 cooperative threat reduction funds in the amount of $9,500,000 are being obligated at the time of award. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
