Description
SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL BUT A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY! It does not constitute a solicitation and/or quote and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Joint Base Charleston anticipates this requirement to remain a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification Systems {NAICS) Code proposed 333415. The size standard for NAICS is 1,250 Employees. Purpose: The purpose of this sources sought is to seek out commercial contractor supplies to provide a Vertical Discharge Cooling Tower located at Bldg 469 on Joint Base Charleston (JB CHS) - Air Base (AB), SC 29404-5021 for the 628th Civil Engineering Squadron (CES). Request: The contractor is responsible for providing an open circuit induced-draft vertical discharge cooling tower, EVAPCO Model AT 29-4K21 or equal. The contractor shall also include a 5 year parts/labor warranty, and factory start-up and commissioning from a manufacturer representative. Attached is a copy of the Salient Characteristics. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought is voluntary. This sources sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. Respondents will not be individually notified of the results of any government assessments. The Government's evaluation of the contractor's responses will factor into any necessary alterations to the Salient Characteristics.
