Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Steris Corporation of Mentor, OH for Preventative Maintenance for Steris equipment. NAICS 811210 applies, the small business size standard is $34 Million. The Contractor shall provide preventative maintenance, technical support, repair services, and autoclave chamber cleaning to keep the units functioning in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Standards, at the Marion campus at 1700 E 38th St, Marion, IN 46953, and located at the Fort Wayne campus at 2121 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805, for the period of December 1, 2025 through November 30, 2026 with four (4) one (1) year options, in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, conditions and provisions of this contract. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 9:00 am on November 24, 2025.
