Description

This is not a solicitation. This is a Notice of Intent (NOI) to award a sole source modification to Dominion Energy South Carolina (DESC), (formally South Carolina Electric and Gas) from General Services Administration (GSA) Contract No. GS-00P-06-BSD-0379, Task Order DE-DT0005213. The Department of Energy (DOE), Savannah River Site (SRS) Aiken, SC, 29808 is issuing this NOI to inform industry of the Government's intent to execute a sole source modification to extend the period of performance for up to five months on a sole source basis using the statutory authority 41 USC 3304(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements�. DESC currently provides utilities, operations, equipment, and maintenance to perform this effort. DOE intends to extend the contract ordering period with DESC to provide for continuity of electrical services.
