Description - Scientists at the Roman L. Hruska U.S. Meat Animal Research Center (USMARC) are developing scientific information and new technology to solve high priority problems for the U.S. beef, sheep, and swine industries. A biproduct of this research is hazardous waste that must be removed and disposed of properly. Contractor will provide qualified personnel and all labor for the segregation, classification, and packaging of hazardous waste in accordance with all Department of Transportation (DOT), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and State regulations. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0789 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for removal of hazardous waste in Clay Center, NE. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 562112 The small business size standard is $47M. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
