Drawings cannot be accessed through a DIBBS, cFolders link at this time. DLA Weapons Support is considering a procurement of NSN 4320-012698849 under a long-term contract. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract only for materiel from the approved source(s) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333912 with a business size of 1,000 employees. This sources-sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation, obligation, or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. No solicitation exists currently. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified businesses that express interest in carrying out this potential contract. The Government is not obligated to, nor will it pay for, any information received from potential sources because of this notice. Your response to this information request will assist the Government in determining an appropriate acquisition method. ********** The AMC/AMSC* for the NSN listed above is 1/G. *Reference: DFARS PGI 217.7506, Part 2-201.1 AMC 1: Suitable for competitive acquisition for the second or subsequent time. AMSC G: The Government has rights to the technical data, the data package is complete, and there are no technical data, engineering, tooling or manufacturing restrictions. (This is the only AMSC that implies that parts are candidates for full and open competition. Other AMSCs such as K, M, N, Q, and S may imply limited competition when two or more independent sources exist yet the technical data package is inadequate for full and open competition.)
