SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE This Sources Sought Notice is to determine the presence of any businesses capable of satisfying a requirement at the Richard L. Roudebush VAMC for Hematologic Malignancy Next Generation Sequence (NGS) complex specialized testing and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) testing and analysis of patient specimens. NOTE TO RESPONDERS: This Sources Sought Notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Your response to this Sources Sought Notice will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. BACKGROUND The Hematology department at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center s Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service (PALMS) requires a one-year, firm fixed price contract for Hematologic Malignancy Next Generation Sequence (NGS) complex specialized testing and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) testing and analysis of patient specimens. NGS testing is an advanced test methodology at the gene level for detecting various forms of diseases through patient blood specimens. Testing shall provide detailed gene test results of at least 600 targeted genes and produce detailed treatment plans. This contract is needed for Hematology providers to obtain repeat NGS testing that may not be covered under the VA National Precision Oncology Program (NPOP) national contract, for patients with changes in their diagnosis. A capability statement that adequately describes the contractor s ability to meet the requirement. Contractor shall provide any applicable past performance on contracts of this nature. Please provide no more than three (3) examples. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice.
