Description

Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, GA intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with DNA Labs International, 700 W. Hillsboro BLVD. BLDG 3, Deerfield Beach FL 334441. The requirements provides: The FIGG contractor must have the following capabilities: Validated and up to date forensic NGS technologies FIGG testing for genealogy- options for whole genome sequencing, Kintelligence, and SNP array Software program that can resolve mixtures Enhanced techniques for fired cartridge casings collections and extractions Rootless hair extractions Wet Vacuum DNA collection tool EVIDENCE SCREENING/EXTRACTION Small Bone/Tooth Large Bone/Skull/Mandible with Teeth Extraction Extraction of Hairs & Rootless Hair Shafts M-Vac� Screening NGS TESTING Whole Genome mtDNA STR Testing (if necessary) Sample Qualification Enrichment NGS SNP Testing - Kintelligence or Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) for Genealogy SNP Array Mixture Mitigation for WGS & Kintelligence Bioinformatics GENEALOGY Upload to GEDmatch � FREE with Kintelligence Upload to Family Tree DNA � FREE with Kintelligence Investigative Genealogist (Contract services) Report Fee- Insufficient SNP/WGS Results The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c) (1), Only One Responsible Source. The Government intends to provide this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received by 900 am EST, Thursday, 22 January 2026 an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
