Description
This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE to award a Firm Fixed Price contract with Pacific Compounding Pharmacy and Consultations, INC. The proposed contract action is to provide IV chemotherapy and other hazardous drug (HD) products as requested by the VA Central California Health Care System pharmacy on an on-demand basis with 3-hour response time in accordance with the Statement of Work. Pacific Compounding Pharmacy and Consultations, INC. will provide services to support continuous operations at the VA Central California Health Care System. This is an intent to sole source notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. This announcement constitutes the only notice of intent to sole source and synopsis of proposed action. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, intends to award a sole-source contract under the authority of this non-competitive acquisition as implemented by 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to Pacific Compounding Pharmacy and Consultations, INC., located at 1889 W March LN, Stockton, California 95207-6402, United States. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest with a full description how all elements in the attached statement of work will be fulfilled by emailing gary.christensen@va.gov no later than 13:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on 10/29/25. When responding to this announcement refer to 36C26126Q0111 in the subject line of the email. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal and facsimile responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. All interested parties are reminded to be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/SAM/ in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts. No telephone calls will be accepted. If after 10/29/25 at 13:00 PM PST, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, NCO 21 shall negotiate solely with Pacific Compounding Pharmacy and Consultations, INC. The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed Price (Base plus 4 option years) contract. A determination by the Government whether to compete the proposed requirement shall be based upon responses received and is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition.
