Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products/commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 36C10B26Q0394 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) for renewal of brand name Medicom Technologies Inc. (Medicom) Imagex with Assistant Edition software, along with all associated services, including support, maintenance, and training. This acquisition is not a set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov. This RFQ utilizes clauses and provisions as noted in VA s adoption of the class deviation for the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO). Based on market research, VA intends to award a firm fixed price contract to Medicom Technologies Inc., is located at 555 Fayetteville Street, Suite 300, Raleigh, NC 27601. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (JOTFOC) has been approved in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by the Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) 6.103 1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. In accordance with FAR 5.201, the Request for Quote (RFQ) and a redacted JOTFOC will be publicly posted. Any quotes received will be considered and evaluated by the Government. All pertinent information is included in the attachment to this posting, including the list of line-item number(s) and items, quantities, and units of measure; description of requirements for the items to be acquired; date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and f.o.b. point; and the applicable solicitation provisions and contract clauses that apply to the acquisition.
