Description
The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is conducting market research to find any potential businesses that are authorized distributors of Excel Modular Scaffolding & Leasing Equipment. If this is an item, you are authorized by Excel Modular Scaffolding & Leasing to provide their products please provide supporting documentation validating your authorization to distribute via email. The market research information collected resulting from this Sources Sought Notice will be used to help the Government to identify qualified sources capable of providing applicable material under NAICS Code 332311. All interested parties are encouraged to respond. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are NOT deemed offers, and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.
