Description
Intent to Sole Source � Modification: Reduced Period of Performance for Contract W912EP22C0017 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District intends to modify Contract W912EP22C0017 on a sole source basis to Forgen-Odin JV, 2901 Douglas Blvd STE 300, Roseville, California 95661-4247, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), Only One Responsible Source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. The purpose of this modification is to reduce the period of performance, from 2029 to 2028 for required project work. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice. This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement and any relevant documentation to the point of contact(s) listed in this notice. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow SAJ to be able to determine if the interested party can provide the requirement described herein. The submission must be received no later than 24 October 2025. Contract Project Description: The work includes clearing, grubbing, de-mucking, foundation preparation, installation of a seepage cutoff wall, canal backfilling, blasting, and all incidental related work to prepare approximately 15.3 miles of foundation for a 17.3-mile-long embankment dam, to be constructed under separate contract within the Everglades Agricultural Area (EAA). The approximate toe to toe width of the dam foundation is 260 feet in the north, east, and west; and 235 feet in the south. Surface and subsurface water management are required to conduct work in the dry, in a neat and orderly manner, in accordance with contract specifications.
