Description
This Sources Sought notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 206.302-1(d). The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to procure on a sole source basis Waygate Technologies (Cage: 052B7) for the procurement of seven (7) Defect Measurement Video 4MM Borescopes (P/N XLGOB3920M-N, NSN: 6650-01-586-0426); two (2) base quantities and five (5) option quantities. Waygate Technologies is the designer, developer, and original equipment manufacturer of the Defect Measurement Video 4MM Borescope (P/N XLGOB3920M-N), and it is the only part that is compatible with the MH-60S/R aircraft. Waygate Technologies possesses the data rights and technical data package for this test set. They do not have any authorized distributors. The Government contacted Waygate Technologies via email on 13 February, 2026 and are not willing to sell this data to NAWCAD. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Responsible, interested parties, however, may identify their interest by submitting a capabilities statement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any responses received. There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.
