Description
The Department of Justice, Office of Acquisition Management, on behalf of the Asset Forfeiture Management Staff (AFMS), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), intends to enter into a sole source purchase order with Hearst Business Media Corporation. Hearst Business Media Corporation is the owner of the web-based software program �BlackBook�. AFMS requires this software to determine the valuation of vehicles. Vendors who believe they have the ability to provide the data services and analyses support are required to submit an affirmative response demonstrating that they can meet the government requirements. The response must be sufficient to permit agency analysis to establish bona fide capability to meet the requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
