Repair MWD Kennel Interior, Facility 1030 at Joint Base Langley - Eustis (JBLE), VA

Description

The scope of this project is to completely gut and replace the existing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system, as well as improve and expand individual kennel cells to meet square footage requirements per the Kennel Design Guide. The existing HVAC system does not supply enough air changes as required per the Kennel Design Guide and has led to terrible odor and health concerns. The current system will be replaced with a Dedicated Outside Air System (DOAS) that will meet the required air changes. Currently, the building exists only on single phase power; part of DOAS installation will be the required installation of three-phase power to the building from a nearby switch. The Magnitude of Construction Project: Estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 (See Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204(f)). The Pre-Bid Site Visit will be held on 6 January 2026 at 10:00am ET. Location: 1030 Worley Rd, Hampton, VA 23665. The Pre-Bid Questions are due by no later than 9 January 2026 at 5:00pm ET.
