Notice of Intent to Sole Source Award to Cadence Design Systems, Inc.

The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific), intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a commercial Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Cadence Design Systems, Inc. pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b).The requirement is for Cadence Visual System Simulator software licenses for a one-year term as follows:Item 0001: Visual System Simulator (Quantity: 3)Period of Performance: One year from date of award.This notice is not a request for competitive quotations or proposals. Interested parties may submit capability information demonstrating their ability to satisfy the Government?s requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 513210 ? Software Publishers, with a size standard of $47.0 million.Interested vendors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and maintain an active Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and CAGE Code.
