Instructions:� This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation.� All information received in response to this notice is marked as proprietary and will be handled accordingly.� In accordance with� FAR 12, responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice. This notice is being issued� to� determine� the level of interest among all socioeconomic groups. Responses will� assist� VA planners in� determining� an appropriate acquisition� and set-aside strategy which best fits VA requirements.� � � This action is to perform market research to determine if there is� a sufficient number of� qualified (1) Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business; (2) Veteran Owned Small Business; (3) Small or emerging small business firms; or (4) large business firms to set aside a multiple award contract.� � � The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, Pittsburgh, PA� requires� a contract for Automed FastPak EXP services and maintenance contract which provides packaging and barcoding for medications in unit dose packages within the inpatient medication administration. Both machines require hardware and software support to ensure that the equipment is available for use 365 days a year. This will include all major holidays observed by the Government. The Government will require an unlimited number of Telephone Support requests 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for trouble shooting and remote diagnostics, including patches and software downloads. Contractor will also provide unlimited number of On Site Support during the hours of 8 a.m. 5 p.m. , Monday thru Friday by trained Field Service Technicians and will include all labor, travel and parts cost. Two (2) preventative maintenance visits per equipment per contract year will be scheduled in advance and performed during the hours of 8 a.m. 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday. On-site service will be performed in the inpatient pharmacies located at VA Pittsburgh Healthcare Systems located at University Drive, Pittsburgh, PA and 1010 Delafield Road, Pittsburgh, PA. Attached is a DRAFT copy of� the SOW. Please review for� additional� information.� � All interested firms who can meet the� requirement� should respond, in writing, and provide the following:� 1.
