Description
This synopsis is amended to address 2 things: 1. The synopsis number (N68335-26-R-0132) is incorrect and should have been numbered as N68335-26-R-1032. Any forthcoming solicitation resulting from this synopsis will be numbered as N68335-26-R-1032, and 2. The following CMMC requirements have been added: Cybersecurity is a top priority for the Department of Defense (DoD). The defense industrial base (DIB) faces increasingly frequent and complex cyberattacks. To strengthen DIB cybersecurity and better safeguard DoD information, the DoD developed the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Program to assess DoD cybersecurity requirements pertaining to Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). The items in this acquisition have been deemed to fall into CMMC Level 2- Self-Assessment. CMMC Level 2 requires implementation of the 110 security requirements set forth in NIST SP 800171 Rev. 2 to protect CUI in contractor information systems. Level 2 assessments are conducted every three years. CMMC Level 2 self-assessment scores are entered by the OSA into SPRS. ***END OF CHANGES*** The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a competitive basis for the procurement of items of Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) as outlined in the attached spreadsheet. These items are in support of the NAVAIR CH-53K Program, and the Israel Foreign Military Sales Program for maintenance operations at the O-Level of maintenance for the CH-53K Aircraft. Specific information regarding solicitation N68335-26-R-0132 will be issued and posted on the SAM website in the near future. No telephone or written requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Amendments to the solicitation, if issued, will be posted to the same website. After solicitation release, vendors should regularly access the website to ensure they have all of the amendments. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Government is not obligated to pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. This synopsis is for administrative purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation for bid or proposals, and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for award of a competitive contract.
