Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13.5 for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-06 (effective 10/01/2025). This competitive solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811310, with a Small Business size standard of $12.5 million. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for a base plus four (4) option years. Contractors are required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and Small Business Administration (SBA). SDVOSB and VOSB contractors are also required to be active in and shall be verified/listed in the SBA VetCert. Quotes may be considered non-compliant and rejected if the Contracting Officer is unable to verify active registration status. The Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO-16) is seeking a contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform annual inspections, tagging and repair of seventeen (17) control air, medical air, and medical vacuum compressors at various sites at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) in North Little Rock and Little Rock, AR in accordance with the included Performance Work Statement (PWS). All questions must be submitted to arlene.blade@va.gov no later than 8:00 AM (CST) October 30, 2025. Answers to questions will be provided via solicitation amendment. No telephone responses will be accepted or returned. Offerors must ensure they complete the SDVOSB Limitations on Subcontracting statement contained in this RFQ. It is found at VAAR 852.219-75. Failure to complete this certification will render your quote non-compliant and it will be deemed ineligible for evaluation and award.
