Description

UPDATE 08 JUL 2026: Amendment 0001 has been posted to this solicitation. The purpose of this amendment is to revise the technical specifications to include a requirement for Spot Size: 50 microns. Please see the attached SF-30for full details. Offerors must formally acknowledge receipt of this amendment in their quote submission. Xact Metal 200G Metal 3D Printer System (With Installation and OEM OnSite Training) Complete metal powder bed fusion 3D printing system, including physical delivery, onsite installation, OEMled operator training, and operational verification. System shall be configured and supplied with: Laser Configuration: Single (1) 400-Watt Laser Build Height: Extended Build Height (11.5") Reactive Enabled: Supports safe processing of aluminum and other reactive metals Glove Box: Integrated powderhandling glove box. Sieving Station: OEM powder sieving station for material reclamation. Safety Equipment: Specialized metal powder vacuum for safe cleaning and mitigation of inhalation/combustion hazards. Installation Services: Onsite unboxing, physical setup, utility connection, and system calibration /verification by certified OEM technicians at Fort Hood, TX. OEM-Led Training (Bundled): 2-3 days of intensive, onsite, hands-on operational and safety training at Fort Hood, TX. Training shall be scheduled and conducted only after the printer has been fully installed, calibrated, and verified as operational. Training includes system operation, powder handling, reactive metal safety, job setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
