Description
THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, will be issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to provide Human Blood and Blood Related Products. The Contractor shall provide Human Blood, Blood Components, and Associated Services to the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS). The Contractor shall provide products and services in accordance with the regulations and requirements of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the laws and regulations of the State of California, and the Standards of the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB). It is NCO 21 s intention to award a single Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for VAPAHCS. Please refer to the solicitation for a complete summary of the items requested and any additional procurement details. A Request for Quotation using the following NAICS is contemplated: 621991 Blood and Organ Banks. THIS RFQ SHALL BE FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Solicitation documents will be available on or about December 18, 2025. The solicitation will contain Quotation instructions. The Government intends to award one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity Contract. Questions regarding the solicitation shall be sent in writing to David J.
