SYNOPSIS COMPETITIVE SPARES PR: FD2030-24-01235 RFP: SPRTA1-25-R-0324 Export Control: No New Manufactured Material: (Competitive) A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The items, estimated quantities and required deliveries are as follows: CLIN 0001: NSN: 2935-01-202-5339 / P/N: 8427707 / NOUN: Lubricating Cooler / QTY: 59 EA / Delivery: 30 Sep 2025. AMC: 1C The approximate solicitation issue date will be: 15 May 2025. The approximate response date will be: 16 Jun 2025. The anticipated award date will be: 31 Aug 2025. History: Last buy 28 Mar 2013 to Meggitt Troy, Cage 78385, Qty: 10 each. The proposed contract action is for supplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under authority of FAR 6.302. All responsible sources solicited may submit a proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. It is anticipated that this requirement is competitive. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. This is a full and open requirement. All proposals received within 45 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
