Description
Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 08 (NCO 08) hereby gives notice of the Government s intent to negotiate a sole source, Fixed-Priced Purchase Order with only one source Olympus America Inc. The Contractor shall provide all labor, travel, equipment, materials, apparatus, tools, supervision and disposal necessary to provide Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on the Olympus OER-ELITE Endoscope Reprocessors located at the Bay Pines VA Health Care System, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, FL 33744, and Lee County VA Clinic, 2489 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL 33909. This action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Revolutionary FAR Overhaul 12.102 (a) and 41 USC §1901, only one will meet the Government s needs. Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the supplies and/or services. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only authorized provider of the services and parts that can meet the agency s needs. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can meet the scope of work may give written notice to moneque.rodriguez@va.gov by 13:00PM Eastern Standard Time on January 09, 2026. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO CONTRACT FOR ANY SUPPLY OR SERVICE. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION OR ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS.
