Description
The United States (U.S.) Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is seeking vendors to assist with Transit Innovation Evaluation Program (TIEP) as described in the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO). The Transit Innovation Evaluation Program (TIEP) improves the timeliness, quality, and efficiency of evaluation and rapid-response research across the transit sector. It fulfills the federal statutory requirement (49 U.S.C. 5312(e)(4)) for independent evaluation of demonstration projects under the Public Transportation Innovation Program and supports evidence-based decision-making through ad hoc research on emerging transit challenges. The program relies on evaluation experts with public transportation industry experience to effectively conduct evaluations and address emerging research priorities in a timely manner.
