Description

Description of purpose work nature and volume: The chosen contractor shall provide complete construction services for labor, materials, equipment, and superintendent supervision required to complete the Repair Transformer T5 Access Hatch project for the Cincinnati VAMC, Cincinnati Campus. The Repair Transformer T5 Access Hatch project is intended to replace the three-phase pad mount 150 KVA T5 transformer outside of Building 8. The contractor shall purchase the equipment and complete full install. The above construction Statement Of Work (SOW) constitutes a basic outline of work and in no way outlines all of the details for the construction of this project. It is recommended that a detailed inspection of the premises, drawings and specification be initiated to determine the needs and conditions for the construction of this project. Period of Performance: All phases of work completed within 550 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of construction project is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000.. Location of the work: All work to be performed, according to the drawings and specifications at the: Cincinnati VA Medical Center 3200 Vine Street Cincinnati, Ohio 45220-2637 Tentative dates for issuing invitations, opening bids, and completing contract performance; The Invitation for Bids (IFB) should be posted on/about 11-20-2025 and the Bid Opening should be within 30-45 days thereafter. Plans will be available for inspection without charge: The specification and drawings will be available electronically with the IFB when released. Date by which requests for the invitation for bids should be submitted: There will be no physical copies provided. Set-Aside: This solicitation is set-aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) concerns. Amount to be charged for solicitation documents: Not Applicable. ***END OF SYNOPSIS***
