Description

- This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source - A "Monaco system" in the context of a fire department refers to a specialized fire alarm and emergency management system manufactured by Monaco Enterprises, which provides a comprehensive platform for receiving fire alarms, managing incident information, and coordinating emergency response efforts, allowing firefighters to quickly react to incidents and deploy resources efficiently; essentially, it's a critical tool for streamlined communication and operational management during fire emergencies. Monaco Enterprises Inc. is the sole provider capable of providing the specialized fire alarm and emergency management system without jeopardizing the existing system, ensuring continued support at minimal cost to the government. Changing vendors for the fire system at Cannon AFB (currently a Monaco Enterprises Inc. system) would also introduce unnecessary expenses related to shipping, installation, and training. Maintaining continuity with Monaco Enterprises Inc. through a sole source award offers the most practical and cost-effective solution for Cannon AFB There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 13.5. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses should be e-mailed Attention: A1C Joshua Cameron email joshua.cameron.6@us.af.mil and SrA Brayden Moore email brayden.moore@us.af.mil, No telephone or fax inquiries will be accepted.
