Description

The Embassy of the United States in Madrid will replace 430 square meters of carpet in one floor of Chancery Building. The Contractor will be responsible for removal and disposal of existing carpet and Supply and installation of new carpet tiles. The anticipated performance period is seven days after the contractor receives the notice to proceed. The Government is planning a site visit to inspect the area where the works will take place, Interested companies may request to attend the visit to the e-mail address provided in this notice. The Government intends to award a contract to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed-price type contract. In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), all contractors must possess all permits and licenses required to do business in Spain. All offerors will be required to provide proof that they already possess said permits as part of their offer. All contractors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provisions 52.204-7.
