Description

Items: 2 VRTEX360+ Duel User The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Edgefield, South Carolina intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 with Lincoln Electric, St. Claire Ave Cleveland, OH 44117-25214. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 and the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) 3030322FG 90F. THe Government anticipates awarding this requirement as a Firm Fixed Price contract. The solicitation document and incorporated clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06. The North American Industry Classification System code is 238990 with a smal business size standard of $14 million. The requirement at FCI Edgefield is for a Welding Simulator with specific modifications that are only done by said vendor to include manufacturing and installing vents. The vendor will agree to adhere to all regulations and policies prescribed by FCI Edgefield and the Bureau of Prison during and after installation. The Lincoln Welding Simulator 360 has received FITARA approval.
