Pre-Solicitation Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 (NCO 2), intends to solicit quotes from contractors for: Annual Fire Systems Testing to Include Service and Maintenance for the Canandaigua VA Medical Center located at: VMAC Canandaigua 400 Fort Hill Ave Canandaigua, NY 14424 The VA anticipates posting a Small Business (SB) Set-Aside RFQ for this requirement to beta.SAM.gov on or about:01/01/2026 Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from beta.SAM.gov, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to offerors about the quote submission process. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the beta.SAM.gov website (https://www.beta.sam.gov) so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. NAICS Code: 561621 (Security Systems Services) with a Small Business Size Standard: $25 Million. Classification Code: S202 (Housekeeping Fire Protection) Proposed Solicitation Number: 36C24226Q0228 Anticipated Closing Response Date: January 8, 2026 Period of Performance: 01/15/2026 12/31/2026, with the provision of four (4) subsequent option years. Description: Annual Fire Alarm Systems Testing, Inspection & Maintenance /Service for the Canandaigua CA Medical Center to Include: a. The annual testing, inspection, service/maintenance of the building 37 IRM Suite, Simplex fire system and any software upgrades to the control panel. b. Annual testing, inspection, service/maintenance of the building 02 fire pump. The pump is a A-Fire Pump & ITT Industries model 8100 split case model. Serial # 22-093576-01-01/QLA048. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment to perform testing, maintenance, cleaning and calibration of all Fire Alarm components in accordance with the latest edition of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 72; Chapter 7 (Section 7.6), Inspection, testing and maintenance , the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM); Simplex or Centrifugal and the VA standards. Any conflict between those sources shall be immediately reported to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for guidance and resolution. All work shall be performed using NICET certified technicians, with experience using tools and equipment specific to the industry acceptable standards. Specific Equipment Information can be found in the Statement of Work. All responsible sources may submit quotes which shall be considered by the Agency.
