Description

**Amendment 001 posted* The Department the of Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for non-personal science and technical support services necessary for mission support for the USGS Southeast Servicing Area. The USGS is a science organization that provides impartial science about the natural hazards that threaten lives and livelihoods; the water, energy, minerals, and other natural resources we rely on; the health of our ecosystems and environment; and the impacts of climate and land-use change. USGS scientists develop new methods and tools to supply timely, relevant, and useful information about the Earth and its processes. Independently, and not as an agent of the Government, the Contractor shall provide all plant, equipment, labor and materials (unless otherwise provided herein) necessary to provide Science and Technical Support Services necessary to accomplish the mission of the USGS. Science and technical support services required include administrative, program management services, research/science, data and information management, geospatial applications, modeling, and associated technologies, technical project management and science facility/equipment support. The Government anticipates an award of a performance based, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ), type contract with firm fixed-price and labor-hour type task orders. Actual contractor performance is estimated to begin on or about April 1, 2026, and continue for a period of five years. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued on or about December 18, 2025 with written proposals due on January 20, 2026. This requirement is being issued competitively within the 8(a) program in accordance with Part 15 for competitive acquisitions. Those interested parties that want to qualify as a small business must qualify under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541990, " All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services ". The size standard for this NAICS code is $19.5 million. The solicitation, all related documents, and amendments, if any, will be only released and available electronically through https://www.sam.gov posting systems at https://www.sam.gov. As such, no written, telephonic, facsimile or email requests for the solicitation package will be honored. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is solely the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the https://www.sam.gov website for any solicitation amendments. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer.
