The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary, Atwater, Ca intends to issue an award to a qualifying entity that can provide various small arms ammunition that meets or exceeds the specs listed below. Vendors must be able to sell and deliver both 9mm and 5.56 ammunition in the state of California to USP Atwater and deliver within 90 days Receipt of Order. All ammunition must be New in box. No refurbished ammunition or loose ammunition will be accepted. All quotes should include shipping costs, FOB destination. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-01. �MANUFACTURED, RELOADED OR SURPLUS AMMUNITION IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED� The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to thi requirement is 332992. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is 1,300 employees. Quotes will be evaluated to which offer(s) conforms to the Specifications and is the most advantageous to the Government, with both Price, Past Performance, and Delivery time considered. Each potential vendor is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representation and certifications via the Online Representation and Certification Applications (SAM) at http://www/sam.gov. The solicitation will be available on or after April 16, 2026 with a closing date of April 30, 2026, and no later than 9:00 a.m., Pacific Standard Time.
