Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 13; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 36C25626Q0446 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract action is for Blood Bank Services at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS), New Orleans, LA., for which the Government intends to solicit competitive quotes. Interested persons may submit quotes, and all eligible quotes must be received prior to the response date listed on FBO to be considered by the Government. The NAICS code is 621991 (Bood and Organ Banks) and the size standard is $40 Million. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC). RESPONSES ARE DUE Tuesday March 17, 2026 by 10:00 a.m. Central Standard Time (CST). Quotes are due electronically to Rachel.Babin@va.gov no later than the response date listed on Contract Opportunities. Only electronic quotes will be considered.
