For decades, DEA faced barriers which limited the ability to modernize investigative tools, expand capabilities and fully realize mission readiness. The DEA is looking to transform how we collect, analyze, and act on intelligence, ensuring faster and more precise decision-making. The Industry Day is being held for informational purposes only. No presentations or capability briefings will be solicited or accepted from vendors during the session. The event is solely intended to provide industry insight into the mission and challenges within DEAs ecosystem. During the Industry Day, DEA representatives from the Office of Domestic and Foreign Operations, Diversion, Intelligence, Special Operations, and Information Technology will each present their mission and needs. The goal is to ensure industry partners have a common understanding of the DEAs strategic direction and the types of innovative solutions we may seek in the near future. This outreach will inform and shape future engagement opportunities where applicable. The intent of this Industry Day, or any follow up meetings as a result of information provided, is only to obtain market information for planning purposes and to determine appropriate strategies to meet the Agency's requirements. This Special Notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute an RFP or a commitment to an RFP in the future.
