Description
The U.S. Department of State (DOS), Office of Acquisition Management, Worldwide Division, Functional Bureau Support Branch (AQM/WWD/FBSB) is issuing this amendment # A003 to RFP # 19AQMM19R0004, which was issued for the Subscriber Radio Program. The purpose of the amendment is to clarify the requirements. Accordingly, the following changes are made: 1. The letter from SBA provided with Amendment A001 that clarified the non-manufacturer rule waiver included a reference to solicitation number: 19AQMM18R0168, which was an older solicitation number that was replaced with the current solicitation number. The letter does in fact apply to solicitation: 19AQMM19R0004, which is DOS's only current procurement of highly encrypted Land Mobile Radio subscriber equipment, associated accessories, software, and parts. 2. An error was made on question and answer number 37, the answer should read: "No. AES FIPS-140-2 Level 1 is required." 3. All other provisions, terms, and conditions remain unchanged. The change to the question and answer (Q&A) attachment noted above was made, and the revised Q&A is provided with this amendment. The proposal due date and time remain unchanged, and are December 5, 2018, 12:00 Noon, Eastern Time.
