Description
The citywide, Norfolk CSRM Program is split into five (5) implementation phases. Phase 1 covers the downtown Norfolk area which extends from Ghent through Downtown Norfolk, connecting to the Campostella off-ramp. Phase 1 is split into Phases 1A, 1B, and 1C/D. Phase 1A is split into three acquisitions: (1) Phase 1A � Floodwall (DBB), (2) Harbor Park Pump Station (Design-Build), and (3) Newton�s Creek Pump Station (DBB). This SATOC Construction Contract is intended to cover the Phase 1A Floodwall, which will extend from the Berkley Bridge to the Campostella off-ramp. The Harbor Park and Newton�s Creek pump stations are excluded from this contract. The scope may include, but is not limited to, new construction of a bin wall, L-shaped wall backfilled and supported by H-piles, a wetland living shoreline, T-wall supported by H-piles and pipe piles, 95-foot-wide double swing gate closure at the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks, vehicular gate crossings, and a sheet pile tieback wall. The Contractor shall be required to perform all work in accordance with the access and security requirements of the customer. See attached document for addiitional information.
