Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons Metropolitan Detention Center Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, intends to issue solicitation 15B30626Q0000009 for procurement and Repair of HVAC motors located at the MDC Guaynabo. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811310. Project will have a performance period of 90 calendar day�s. The contract type is a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This acquisition is a 100% small?business set?aside and is restricted to offerors that meet the applicable small?business size standard. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 4.1102 requires all contractors seeking or currently doing business with the government to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award; information can be obtained at Home | SAM.gov. The Government reserves the right to award item by item, or in groups of items, or in aggregate, whichever is most advantageous to the Government by responsive, responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, with past performance and price consideration, prices being rated higher than past performance. Payments will be made using the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) or the Government Purchase Card. Upon request, vendors may be required to provide samples of product quoted, prior to award. Each offer must complete the FAR Provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications section at the On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a written offer which will be considered for award. The solicitation will be made available on or about February 17, 2026, and will be posted through the SAM website at Home | SAM.gov. The quote, signed by an individual authorized to bind the offer, must be submitted to the address contained within the solicitation posting by 10:00AM eastern standard time with a due date of February 23, 2026. The anticipated date of award is on or about February 26, 2026. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All quotes must be F.O.B. Destination, at Metropolitan Detention Center Guaynabo, Highway 28 Intersection of Road 165, Guaynabo P.R. 00965-2007.
