Description

Contractor to provide liquid nitrogen on an as-needed basis within 48-hours of request to Clay Center, Nebraska. The 1500-gallon Nitrogen tank feeds a storage facility that contains valuable and unreproducible genetic material. Therefore, bulk liquid nitrogen for this tank must be delivered with 24-hours of request in emergency situations and 48 hours otherwise. The period of performance shall not exceed five (5) years and six (6) months if exercised. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0039 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Bulk Liquid Nitrogen. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 325120 The small business size standard is 1,200 employees. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
