THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL POSTED ON OR ABOUT JANUARY 5, 2026. 554-23-101 Construct New SCI Residential Rehab Apartment, Building H. C36C25926R0032 The Contractor/Vendor will Construct New SCI Residential Rehab Apartment, Building H located at 1700 N Wheeling St, Aurora, CO 80045� . The Department of Veteran s Affairs has a requirement to remodel existing space into a residential rehabilitation apartment for spinal cord injury or disorder patients as described in the construction drawings and specifications. The location of the work is in the Inpatient Building South (building 4 also known as H) at RMR VAMC, 1700 N. Wheeling St., Aurora CO 80045. Contract encompasses all materials and work necessary to comply with applicable codes, be field tested, be fully functional, and be installed in accordance with manufacturer s specifications. In accordance with the construction SOW the General Contractor will provide the following items and services. Required work includes but is not limited to these items. Demolish walls, floors, and ceilings. Demolish plumbing, electrical, and low voltage data and communication systems. Construct walls, floors, and ceilings. Install plumbing, electrical, and low voltage data and communication systems. Provide and install kitchen cabinetry and appliances. Provide Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) protections during construction. Work causing noise, vibration, dust, or possible disruption to normal operations shall be required to be done after normal working hours. The NAICS code for this procurement is 2362 20 with a small business size standard of $45 M. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service Disable Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, as stated below. The POC for this project will be Elia Ruiz Manzo.
