Description
Synopsis/Notice of Intent of Sole Source for Parking Spaces for USACE�s GSA Vehicle Fleet This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the U.S. Army Engineer District Chicago intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Interpark LLC (CAGE: 6KBG7) at 211 W Adams St, Chicago, Illinois 60606-5239. This requirement is for the following: Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) � Chicago District � requires five (5) reserved parking stalls at the Contractor�s location CH616 (326 S. Wells Street, Chicago, IL.) for the GSA vehicles leased by the USACE. The vehicles are extra-large/wide/tall pickup trucks requiring the parking facility to have a minimum overhead clearance of seven (7) feet as well as adequate safe turning radii for vehicles to safely traverse the parking facility. These access, maneuvering and parking stall requirements are limited in the local area, and are met at the location described above. The location of these parking stalls must be within a secure and enclosed location with unlimited access to the USACE�s employees and the interchangeability (lease- and mission-required conditions) of the USACE�s vehicle fleet. The proposed contracted services continuation provides monitored, safe and secure parking of the Chicago District�s Operations and Regulatory Division leased General Services Administration (GSA) vehicles, currently utilized by the Operations and Regulatory Division. Period of Performance: 1 year, with 4 option years. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Interpark LLC under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), due to only one source being reasonably available to meet the Government's needs. FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, apply. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code will be 812930, the size standard will be $47,000,000.00 and the Product Service Code (PSC) will be X1LZ. Please be advised the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis and must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of services provided. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All correspondence in conjunction with this notice shall be submitted via e-mail only to the Government points of contact (POC) identified below by 3:30 p.m. Central Time on June 18, 2023. All responding vendors must be registered to the System for Award Management (SAM). Information can be found at https://www.sam.gov. Complete SAM registration means a registered UEI and CAGE Code numbers.
