Description
PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation for bid. Solicitation: 36C25226B0025 Project: 578-26-006: Renovate Bathrooms B103 PRRTP & B 64/72 (CON) Location: VA Illiana Health Care System (VAIHCS) 1900 East Main Street Danville, IL 61832-5100 The VA Illiana Health Care System (VAIHCS) has a requirement to renovate bathrooms to correct the following Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) deficiencies 306162, 42239, and 27984. This renovation will include grab bars, mounted mirrors, accessories, required turning clearances, door swing, and pipe sleeve insulation per accessibility guidelines / standards, bathroom signage, lockers, accessible locker identification for administration areas, benches, roll in shower installations per VA accessibility guidelines, and toilet exhaust fans will be removed and replaced. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, supervision, management, and all other necessary resources required for Project #550-25-108 Renovate Bathrooms B103 PRRTP & B64/72 (CON) as required by the drawings and specifications. The Period of Performance is Three Hundred Sixty-five (365) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NTP shall be issued approximately 14 calendar days after award once required payment and performance bonds and certificate of insurance are provided. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on www. SAM.gov. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(DEVIATION) (b), at the time of submission of bids, and at the time of award of any contract, the offeror must represent to the CO that it is a (1) SDVOSB eligible under VAAR Subpart 819.70; (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) Certified SDVOSB listed in the SBA certification database at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ (see 13 CFR 128). The solicitation will be issued on or about April 9, 2026. The bidder is responsible for monitoring and downloading any amendments from SAM.gov which may be issued to this solicitation. The magnitude of the requirement is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction; small business size standard $45 Million.
