AMENDMENT 0001: THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO CANCEL SOLICITATION W912C26QA009 IN ITS ENTIRETY, EFFECTIVE JUNE 11, 2026. NO CONTRACT AWARD WILL BE MADE UNDER THIS SOLICITATION. THE GOVERNMENT THANKS ALL INTERESTED PARTIES FOR THEIR TIME AND EFFORT IN PREPARING PROPOSALS.1. General Information Requirement Details Agency Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Buchanan (MICC - Fort Buchanan), Solicitation Number W912C325QA009Solicitation Type Request for Quote (RFQ)Contract Type Firm Fixed-Price (Single Award)Set-Aside 100% Small Business, NAICS Code 812910 is Pet Care (Except Veterinary) Services, Size Standard $9MPeriod of Performance Base Year plus Two (2) Option Years2. Description of Requirement(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.(ii) The solicitation number is W912C325QA009 and is issued as a RFQ.(iii) The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Buchanan (MICC - Fort Buchanan) has a requirement for Animal Caretaker Services at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. A single Firm Fixed-Price Contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation.(iv) The Government will allocate funds based on a Period of Performance consisting of a Base Year plus two (2) Option Years.3. System for Award Management (SAM) and Registration To be eligible for award, contactors submitting proposals must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam.gov.Additionally, offerors must ensure they have completed their annual Representations and Certifications in SAM, specifically including FAR 52.204-26 (Covered Telecommunications Equipment or Services-Representation). Failure to complete these representations, or the inability of the Government to verify this information, may render the offeror ineligible for further consideration for award.4. Proposal Submission Instructions - Availability: Hard copies of the RFP will not be available, mailed, or faxed. The RFQ and all associated documents will be posted and accessed electronically by the public at http://www.sam.gov. - Amendments: All interested parties are responsible for monitoring SAM.gov for the status of the RFQ and any amendments. Vendors shall ensure copies of any issued amendments are submitted with their proposal. Failure to acknowledge and submit amendments may result in removal from consideration for award. - Submission Method: Email is the preferred method of receiving contractor proposals. Please ensure electronic documents are formatted in Microsoft Excel, Word, PDF or similar standard formats. - Timeliness: It is strictly the offerors responsibility to ensure that the submitted proposal is received in the office indicated in the solicitation prior to the exact time and date specified for the receipt of proposals. Tardy quotes will not be evaluated.
