NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Dated: 6/15/2026 Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract for Elevator Preventive Maintenance Services � Kampala, Uganda This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the Government to award Sole Source contract for preventive maintenance services for three existing Schindler 5500 elevator systems installed at U.S. Government facilities in Kampala, Uganda. This requirement will be under NAICS code 238290, PSC code Z1PZ to Roko Technical Services. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with authority citation, 41 USC 253(c) (1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Roko Technical Services Limited is the sole authorized Schindler representative in Uganda. As such, Roko Technical Services Limited is the only responsible source capable of providing certified preventive maintenance services for the Schindler 5500 elevator systems installed at U.S. Embassy Kampala. No other supplier or service provider can satisfy the Embassy's requirements for these systems. The estimated period of performance is one (1) base year, with a maximum of three (3) one-year option periods, exercisable at the sole discretion of the U.S. Government. This is not a request for proposal, and the intent of this notice is to meet regulatory disclose requirements, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Department.
