INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) NOTICE 2-1-QSC-T-26-076 DEMIL A Aluminum Scrap Term Contract NASA Kennedy Space Center � Space Commerce Way, Merritt Island, FL 32899 The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the sale and recurring removal of Government-generated DEMIL A Aluminum Scrap located at NASA Kennedy Space Center, Florida. This solicitation establishes a term contract for the sale of scrap property, with removal required as a condition of sale. The successful bidder shall remove scrap material on a recurring, as-needed basis in coordination with the Agency Government Representative (AGR), and in accordance with all site-specific operational, security, and safety requirements. OVERVIEW Commodity: DEMIL A Aluminum Scrap Location: NASA Kennedy Space Center, Space Commerce Way, Merritt Island, FL 32899 Contract Type: Term Contract (3-year base with up to two 1-year options) Disposal Requirement: Material must be recycled for material content only SOLICITATION ACCESS This solicitation is available for review and bidding on SAM.gov and GSA Auctions. SUBMISSION INFORMATION Submission Method: Email (sealed bid submission) Bid Submission Deadline: June 15, 2026 � 5:00 PM Central Time Bid Opening: June 17, 2026 � 9:00 AM Central Time KEY REQUIREMENTS (MANDATORY) MANDATORY Pre-Bid Site Inspection Required (IFB Section 3.3) Submission must include: Appendix A � Site Verification & Bidder Certification Form Standard Form 114 (SF 114) Pricing is based on a percentage of a published market index. Certified weight tickets are required; contractor-owned scales are not permitted. Performance Guarantee of $2,500 required post-award. Required insurance documentation must be furnished prior to performance in accordance with IFB Section 7.2. All amendments must be acknowledged. Failure to meet these requirements may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. SITE ACCESS / SECURITY NASA Kennedy Space Center is a secured Federal installation. Advance coordination is required for all site access. Badging and access controls apply. Additional restrictions may be enforced. All inspection scheduling must be coordinated with the Government.
